Pastor-in-charge of God’s Foundation Church, Noval area in Ado-Ekiti, Prophet Elijah Adeyeye, has advised governorship candidates contesting in the forth-coming elections in Ekiti State to shun campaign of calumny.

Adeyeye gave the advice while speaking with newsmen on Monday in Ado Ekiti.

The cleric stressed the need for politicians to avoid acquiring power through violence and dubious means, but rather fear God in their undertakings.

According to him, candidates should be sincerely concerned about the well being of the people rather than their personal gains.

He also enjoined the electorates to disregard vote-buying and elect credible leaders that could bring meaningful development to the state.
