The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God  Pastor Enoch Adeboye,  has revealed that he would have fathered 12 children.

Adeboye made this know to his congregation on Saturday; the sixth day of the church’s 70th Annual Convention tagged ‘Perfect Jubilee’, which was held at RCCG International Headquarters situated along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

This is coming 24 hours after he revealed that God promised him 110,000 babies for waiting couples by the next convention.

Adeboye said 67 babies – 41 boys and 26 girls – were delivered at Redemption City during the one-week programme as of Saturday morning.

While reviving mothers and babies, the octogenarian said, “See the homes where there used to be sorrow but now there is joy. I love children because my father in heaven loves them. If I had my way, I would have had 12 of my own but what I couldn’t have biologically, I can now have.”

Religion Nigeria can confirm that Adeboye shared four children, three sons and a daughter, with his wife, Pastor Mrs. Foluke Adeboye, who he married on December 17, 1967.

However, the couple lost one of their sons, Dare, who died in his sleep in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, on May 4,  2021, at the age of 42, leaving behind his wife, Temiloluwa and three daughters.

The 42-year-old was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35 before his death.
