A renowned gospel artist, Victoria Orenze, has taken to her social media page to encourage Nigerians to stay calm and “witness the act of God” as Nigeria’s new president is yet to be announced.

Orenze, in her Twitter handle admonished Nigerians who are eager to know the outcome of Saturday’s presidential elections not to fret nor be discouraged.

She posted a graphic image incorporating Nigerian flag with text: “I PITY WHO NO FEAR GOD.”

It further stated “Nigeria and Nigerians, we are about to witness the ACT OF GOD in the coming days.

She reiterated that ” the Lord has given us peace”, adding that Nigerians should expect the miracle of God.

Her tweet @victoriaorenze reads: “Nigerian don’t fret and don’t be discouraged.
Between now and June we are about to witness the ACTS OF GOD, THE MIRACLE OF GOD, THE HAND OF GOD!

The Lord has given us His peace!!

I say to you:
PHARAOHS DON’T KNOW HOW TO LET GO!”

However, it seemed like the miracle the gospel artist prophesied of had started manifesting itself as Peter Obi of Labour Party was able to defeat All Progressive Congress presidential contender, Bola Tinubu in his home state, Lagos.

Obi was said to have narrowly won in the state with 582,454 votes against Tinubu with 572, 606 votes while Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party, garnered 75,750 votes.

The gospel artist’s anticipated miracle played out as Tinubu won in the majority of the 20 local governments in Lagos, Obi’s total votes were more, while he also won in the remaining nine local government areas.

Premium Times reported that the result has been described by many analysts as a demystification of Tinubu, who had been predicted to win the state where he was governor between 1999 and 2007.
