Hajj: NAHCON to sign MoU with Saudi Arabia

The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan, is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with relevant agencies and service providers on behalf of the Nigerian government on this year’s Hajj exercise at the 2023 International Hajj exhibition holding in Jeddah.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Hassan, has arrived in Saudi Arabia, alongside other stakeholders for the four- day event, tagged Hajj Expo 2023.

The event is scheduled to start on Monday January 9 to Thursday January 12 under the patronage of Makkah Governor, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal.

The four-day gathering aspires to create a healthy digital ecosystem that will enhance the pilgrims’ journeys.

The Expo is anticipated to bring together powerful individuals from around the world to discuss and plan technological advancements based on scientific foundations, to foresee future needs of pilgrims, and to create opportunities for partnerships, agreements, and initiatives on a local and global scale, according to the program of events.
