Kaduna launches curriculum for hajj pilgrims

 

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Board has introduced a curriculum for hajj pilgrims guides titled “Jagoran Mahajjata” for would-be pilgrims in the state.

The curriculum review was carried out by a constituted 12-man committee by the Agency, comprised religious clerics and personnel of Immigration, NAFDAC and NDLEA, among others.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Yusuf Arrigasiyyu, at the launch of the Renewed Curriculum Development on Hajj Pilgrims Guide, Jagoran Mahajjata, said that the collection will help pilgrims deal with the problems they face.

It was also said the new guide will further educate the intending pilgrims on their expectations in the holy land.

On the trainers teaching intending pilgrims, Dr Alrigasiyu said they would be expected to follow the guide during the enlightenment exercise for intending pilgrims.

He also noted that the manuals and guide were upgraded in line with global best practices and current knowledge
