Mbaka returns to Adoration Ministry after eight months

The Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria Catholic Chaplaincy, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, on Wednesday returned to Enugu State.

The Cleric returned back to the state from the monastery after an eight months suspension.

It would be recalled that his Church had been shut down earlier in the year, and on June 3, 2022, after the ministry’s operations had been halted, the Catholic Diocese of Enugu forbade Mbaka from speaking on political matters.

When the ministry reopened, the Church converted it into a chaplaincy to keep an eye on its excesses.

Mbaka was moved from chaplaincy to the monastery by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga, in October 2022.

As a result, Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi was chosen to take over as the new chaplain of the Adoration Ministry Chaplaincy in place of him (Mbaka).
