Mercy Aigbe, husband off to Saudi Arabia for 2023 Hajj
Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe with her husband have gone to Saudi Arabia to perform 2023 Hajj exercise in the Holy Land of Makkah.
The actress announced her departure on Instagram with photos taken with her husband Kazim Adeoti at the airport before they left.
Mercy who was seen cladding beautiful black dress while her husband wore a white Jalabiya and a native cap, wrote, “Hajj 2023….Alhamdulilah”
Fans and colleagues of the actress have congratulated her just as they bid her farewell.
Nollywood star has announced her conversion to Islam during a Ramadan event that she hosted with her husband in early April 2023.
She urged Nigerians to address her as Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti in a widely circulated video.
“Insha Allah, My new name is Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti. Meenah with the H. I’m so so so excited. I feel fulfilled actually. This is actually my first Ramadan lecture and then Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam. It’s like gathering people and letting them be aware of what Allah says, so that we can follow the rules that Allah has set. So I’m so happy that people that we called came here,” she said in the video.
