The late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, has been laid to rest amid tears by family members, colleagues, and lovers in her hometown, Abia State.
The gospel singer died on in April allegedly as a result of alleged domestic violence and assault by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu. The accused has, however, denied the claims saying his wife died of cancer.
The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, High Court had remanded Nwachukwu in Kuje Correctional Facility, despite his denial.
Two months after the tragic incident and the singer’s body was received in her hometown in Amakpoke Umuaku community, Abia, Saturday for burial.
The Ekwueme crooner was until her death a chorister at the headquarters of the Dunamis International Gospel Center in Abuja.
