Nigerian gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, has assured his wife that their union will last forever as they both mark their 12th wedding anniversary.
He wrote on Instagram, “Happy 12th wedding anniversary to us. July 1st 2010-2022. 12 years done. Forever to go. Our love is forever, God’s grace is working for us @ozyokposo.”
Religion Nigeria reports that in January, Okposo made headlines when he publicly apologised to his wife, Ozioma, for cheating on her with another woman in the United States.
Okposo said in the statement he posted on Instagram that he met a woman named African Doll in the US last year and got close to her. He had apologised to his wife, family, friends, fans and stopped all ministry work.
The woman he was said to have had an affair with also spoke out, confirming that she was pregnant for the gospel singer but many had dismissed her claim as unsubstantiated.
